Christine Brelsford RN
Christine is vital to Royston Clinic's success. She is the Practice sister. Patients will often see Christine before seeing the doctor. She will take a history, take some observations and may assist with paperwork. She also performs many of the specialised tests such as ECGs, INR's, Spirometry and PER cardiac monitoring.
Christine holds a Certificate in wound management and is expert in dressing of leg ulcers and other wounds. She is also an Ultrasonographer and uses the Royston Clinic's doppler machine to assist arterial function in peripheral vascular disease and diabetes.
Christine also runs many of the Clinic's Preventative Health Programs such as CV trac to monitor cardiac risk, Matrix to detect & monitor Osteoporosis and the Asthma 123 & Instep programs to improve asthma control and outcomes.
Christine also plays a major role in the Clinic's Health assessment Program for over 75's and in Care Planning and Case conferences for those patients with chronic & complex conditions.
