Your Responsibilities Help Us to Help You

Please let us know if you change your name, address, telephone  number or Medicare Card.

Please do everything you can to keep appointments. Tell us as soon as possible  if you cannot, otherwise other patients may have to wait longer.

It is clearly your responsibility to make follow up appointments, please do not assume they will be made for you, without you asking.

We need help too. Please ask for home visits by the doctor only when the person is too ill or frail to visit the surgery.

There is nothing more annoying than trying to get through on the phone and the phone is engaged. This can and does happen unfortunately at times. If possible to avoid this call after 10am when the phone lines are less busy and try to keep the calls as brief as possible.

If the doctor asks you to come back or phone for your test results please do so.

Please do you best to follow your doctor's advice, and if you cannot, please tell the doctor frankly, and what the problem was.

The recall system is an important part of our commitment to maintaining your ongoing health and well being. If you are sent a recall letter please have any tests done and make an appointment as requested.

Please read Your Doctor which is available at the reception desk which has the Practice Information which will help you get the best from the services we offer.

Please ask questions about anything you are unsure. If in doubt ask.

Please treat the doctors and practice staff with courtesy and respect. The. practice staff work very hard and field hundreds of phone enquiries each day. They do their best for you, and even if things go wrong, will do their best to address any problems.
