This practice offers a flexible appointment system in order to accommodate
patients who need a longer consultation, those requiring urgent, medical care
and those requiring external visits. The system is design to allow sufficient
time for Doctors to do house calls and take and return calls.
The time allowed for each consultation is 15 or 20 minutes depending on the
Doctor.
Longer
consultations are available on request and are necessary for the following: Complex
medical problems, PAP smears, Medicals, Diabetes and Asthma checks, Results,
Multiple problems, new patients with complex history, counseling, Workers Compensation, and
Procedures. To ensure that
appointments are available for urgent problems some appointments may not be
booked until the actual day.
Appointments for dressings, ECG’s, Spirometry, cvTrac, Diabetes etc are to be
booked with Sister Brelsford, Dr Zonaga or Dr Lam with the reason for the
appointment written in the notes. All patients are to be booked with the
appropriate Doctor as well.
In the case of an
emergency arising
during consultation hours the practice policy is to fit the patient in as soon
as possible after liaising with doctors.
Waiting Times
We endeavour to run on time but this is a busy General Medical Practice and we
can not always predict what problem may come through the door. Your patience if
