VISITING IN THE HOME, HOSPITAL,
NURSING HOME AND HOSTEL.
It is this practice’s policy for the doctor/s to be available to visit patients in the hospital as required. All consultations outside the surgery must be noted in the patient’s medical record and on the doctor’s appointment schedule. Home visits are available for persons who are not able to move from their place of residence for one reason or another. Where ever possible home visits are scheduled in or around the Doctors' lunch break.
In an emergency a doctor will come out as soon as possible. Tell the receptionist what the problem is and they will put you through to a Doctor or the Practice Nurse. If the situation is potentially life threatening you will be advised to dial 000 for an ambulance and a Doctor will be with you as soon as possible.
